Took the dog and the camper and enough beer to float a battleship and off we went. Spent 6 glorious days in the fantastic fall weather (it was 3 days before we ever even saw a cloud). The moon was full and the temperature never got below 45 degrees at night. Had a little rain one night, but only after we had all gone off to bed. The next day was cooler and overcast, and a light fog set in over the valley after dark. The moon was still able to make its way through the mist.
The days all kind of run together and it's never enough time. You get there and it seems like time to go right away.
Took several hundred photos and these are some of my personal picks.
