New Stuff

Very wet days and nights.  The Meramec River came up over 4 feet over night on Sunday.
I parked the car and watched it come up about 3-4 inches in 5 minutes.

Rainy Day

Lots of rain and wet.  Took the dog out for a "swamp run" Saturday.

The Red Tailed Hawk kept circling me and flying from one side of the field to the other screaming at me as he passed over each time.  There is a nest almost directly over the hideout and the female is on the nest.  The male is guarding the area and making a hell of a racket if anything gets into the area.  I hope to see some of the babies soon.
