Saturday Morning

Got out early this morning and beat the rain.  Had a good thunderstorm about noon and we finally got a break from the heat.  Temperature went from 100 yesterday to 75 today.  I don't think it will last long.  The forecast is calling for 101 on Tuesday.

Bogey Swamp Revisited

They finally cut the weeds down by Bogey Woods.  The swamp is a deep green and the skeeters are pretty vicious around sunset.  Not too bad when it is 95-100 degrees in the middle of the day.

The hideout survived (mostly) the flooding.  Once the water finally goes down this fall, I will get in there and rebuild and get ready for the winter.
